We are a gauge manufacturer with over 10 years of success and growth in the extremely competitive global gauge market. All of our products are designed and assembled in the USA at our Utah factory. We sell direct to the performance enthusiasts, and many OEMs all over the world.

Are your gauges made by you?

Yes- we continually strive to stay ahead of the competition with innovative design, solid engineering, while manufacturing all of our gauges in the USA at our facility. Our engineering team and production team work closely together to ensure quality throughout manufacturing process. Because product development and production is all done at the same location we have the ability to quickly meet our customers needs and with a price much lower than our competition.

Are all gauges equal?

NO- There is a lot of gauges out there and many of them, quite frankly are not very reliable or accurate. Most gauges can be divided into 3 categories.

1. Mechanical gauges

These gauges are usually fairly accurate but require the medium that is being measured run directly into the gauge head. This can cause issues if the gauge were to malfunction and leak. It also makes installation harder because the gauge sensor lines must not have to sharp of bends and carefully handled for safety. No power is needed to operate these gauges except for the gauge lighting. They usually will have a 270 degree viewing angle making them easy to read at a glance.

2. 90 degree electrical gauges

These gauges are usually not as accurate as a good mechanical gauge and offer only a 90 degree viewing angle. This makes them sometimes harder to read at a glance. Installation on these gauges is easier than mechanical because the media measured is always kept at the sensor and does not run into the gauge head. These gauges run on 12volts power and ground to operate.

3. Full sweep electronic gauges

These gauge types are the best of both mechanical and 90 degree gauges. A microprocessor and circuit board is used to operate the gauge movement a full 270 degrees viewing angle. This wide viewing angle is the same as a mechanical gauge, making them easy to read at a glance. However, just like the 90 degree electrical gauge, the medium being measured is kept at the sensor and does not enter the gauge head making them much safer and easier to install.

All of our gauges are this 3rd type of full sweep electronic gauge. Throughout all our product lines, we utilize precision surface mount technology and microprocessor-controlled gauge movements. A high torque digital stepper-motor gauge movement drives the pointer on all our gauge lines. The stepper motor isn't fazed by temperature or vibration extremes like many mechanical and 90 degree gauges can suffer from. Each of our gauges are then assembled in an extremely shallow instrument case, allowing easy-on-the-knuckles mounting in your instrument panel, and every gauge is rigorously tested before being sold, which allows us to confidently offer a lifetime guarantee on each gauge.

Speedhut's personal guaranty to you

We work hard to efficiently and effectively meet our customer's unique requirements for customizable instrumentation products. We understand that our customers want the very best for their application. Therefore, they deserve the very best in customer service. Big quality, small industry footprint results in that better personal service. And because each gauge is assembled at our own production facility, Speedhut can provide excellent quality OEM gauges private-labeled with your company logo, quickly and economically.

life time warrantyWe are proud to offer the longest warranty in the gauge industry, with a Life-time warranty on all gauge electronics and a 5 year warranty on all mechanical hardware.

revolution gauges

Revolution gauges feature shift lights and setable warning lights. Pressure transducers (most accurate) are used for all pressure gauges. See Revolution Gauges.

Legacy Gauges

Legacy gauges feature more classic gauge looks without warning lights and shift lights. Just like the revolution series pressure transducers are used for all pressure gauges.

Speedhut gauges

Speedhut gauges are our introductory line without warning lights or shift lights and utilize a lower cost pressure sensor for the pressure gauges.
